Food insecurity happens to many Canadian families. People from all economical backgrounds can suffer from food insecurity. I have researched organizations in Canada where you can purchase low cost fruits and vegetables. Anybody can purchase from these organizations. You don't need to be considered low income. Some of the organizations have an option to purchase for yourself and a family in need. I will update the list as I research.
